About
Whatever is happening for you, as a counsellor with over 8 years experience, I offer a safe and confidential space where we can work together to explore your situation and find the best way forward.
My counselling approach is Person Centred/ Integrative. This means I am able to combine techniques from different therapies in a Person Centred way to meet your individual needs and personal circumstances - tailoring the therapy to you.
Having worked for the NHS, mental health charity Mind and bereavement counselling service Cruse as well as my own practice, I have experience with adults who present with a wide range of issues including abuse, addiction, anger, anxiety, confidence, depression, grief and loss, obsessive compulsive disorders, relationship, self esteem, stress, trauma and work related.
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and BA (Hons) First Class in Counselling Solutions. I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Accredited Registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I have full liability insurance.
Based in South Yorkshire, as well as working with clients face to face in my local area, I also offer online sessions via Zoom for UK Therapy Guide.
First sessions can be daunting. If you choose to book a session with me, I will be in touch asap to provide you with further details for our first meeting together and give you a chance to ask any questions you might have about the counselling process.
Please note: I work with adults 18+ only.
