About
Hello and welcome. I'm Helen Page, a fully qualified and experienced counsellor offering online counselling sessions to adults. I hold a Masters degree in Counselling and I'm a member of the BACP. I have also undergone specific, further training in delivering online therapy. My work experience spans counselling in private practice and in charity settings as well as in social services.
I have a genuine passion for helping individuals make sense of and move forward from the challenges they are experiencing. I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for exploring the reasons that brought you to counselling including: anxiety and depression, relationship and family issues, work issues, stress, work-life balance, life choices, self-esteem and bereavement. My counselling style is collaborative and warm and I give you the time and space to express your thoughts and feelings and help you make sense of your world.
I work in an Integrative way, which allows me to draw upon different therapy models best suited to help with the client's presenting issues. In particular, I use person centred counselling, CBT and solution focused therapy techniques.
Online therapy provides the opportunity to speak to a counsellor remotely from the comfort of your own private space. It also allows me to offer counselling to clients living further afield in the UK and to clients abroad. Having lived as an expat myself, I understand the wish to speak to a BACP counsellor whilst living, travelling or working abroad.
I work with clients on a short term or long term basis depending on their preference and counselling goals.
