About

I operate a thriving online couples therapy practice, catering to clients worldwide. Online therapy, in my experience, offers the same potential for life-changing outcomes as in-person sessions. This platform allows me to work with couples across international borders or those situated in different geographical locations from each other, offering unparalleled convenience for individuals with busy schedules.

My clients seek help for a wide array of relationship issues, and I bring years of experience in addressing various relationship challenges. The courage it takes to confront these issues within a relationship cannot be understated, and my primary goal is to create a secure, welcoming, and confidential space for this purpose.

I offer a high degree of flexibility in terms of session frequency and duration. In the initial sessions, there may be a focus on gathering information to understand the dynamics. Hence, I can accommodate 90-minute sessions if necessary. During our first session, we discuss the specific issues the couple is facing and their expectations from therapy. We also determine the appropriate duration and frequency of sessions. While weekly sessions are often most effective, I am open to the possibility of bi-weekly sessions. Typically, I recommend a minimum of six sessions, but many couples dealing with long-standing issues continue for an extended period.

Drawing from my extensive experience and training across various therapeutic modalities, I adopt an integrative approach. This approach may involve delving deeply into childhood issues, improving communication skills, or addressing practical matters like childcare, work, or health.

In a couples therapy session, partners are provided with a secure environment to truly listen and communicate with each other, which might be challenging in their daily lives. My role is to establish a respectful and safe space for this essential communication. Ultimately, I aim to equip couples with the skills to effectively address their difficulties in the future.

To reinforce this progress, I often recommend communication exercises to practice between sessions. Many couples find these exercises extremely beneficial as they offer immediate tools to navigate crises and tensions.

It's worth noting that the simple act of having a safe space to regularly discuss issues can significantly reduce conflict and stress in a relationship. I take great pride in being an inclusive practitioner, especially welcoming relationships within the Queer and LGBTQ+ communities, for which I have personal understanding.

When I use the term 'relationship,' I cast a broad net, welcoming not only couples but also friends, mother-daughter pairs, or any two individuals who could benefit from the assistance of a therapist. Additionally, I'm open to working with individuals dealing with the challenges of life after a relationship breakdown, sometimes adjusting to living alone for the first time.
