Whether you are looking for support or trying to make sense of your life, Harriet is here to help. During the sessions you are given the space needed to wonder, reflect and explore new ways/perspectives about yourself, gaining insight in order to make positive changes. As part of Harriet’s practice she uses drawing and dreams as a way to connect and understand her client’s process. One of her strengths is tracking emotions in the body and helping clients to stay with it so the feelings eventually subside or change. Harriet uses an integrative approach which means she can draw upon different therapeutic skills and theories according to what her client’s needs may be. Therapy is not a quick fix but with willingness and effort, therapy with Harriet can uncover new qualities to help find meaning in your life.

With a background in massage and holistic health Harriet has an ongoing interest in the relationship between the mind and body. Harriet has previously managed a counselling service in a primary and secondary school, and has a special interest in working with childhood wounds.

Harriet is an integrative transpersonal counsellor and psychotherapist with over six years’ experience working in both the voluntary and private sectors, as well as providing short-term counselling in the NHS.
