I have worked collaboratively with clients over the last 20 years, exploring a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties. Some of these problems include intimacy, gender issues, depression, anger, violence, obsession and compulsion including sex, food and substance misuse.
I have a particular interest in working with clients wishing to explore cultural identity, race class and individual family history particularly its effects on current relationships. My client base is varied coming from cross cultural backgrounds which I believe has an effect on what is possible and how people feel in their lives.
I work with clients of all genders, heritage and sexualities. I have worked extensively as a Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and an Integrative Counsellor with both individuals and couples.
My clinical focus is expansive and generic, focusing on issues associated with attachment disruptions, trauma and loss. Understanding these issues is an important part of what psychotherapy can offer.
