Mary-Lou Al-Saedy has been working as a therapist for over 15 years. Her approach is integrative. She works with many different presentations but specialises in trauma and survivors of sexual abuse. Mary-Lou also works with anxiety, stress and depression. Relationship issues are often a problem and arise as a result of anxiety and stress. She is happy to take on short term clients or work on an open ended basis. She also offers Skype and telephone counselling.
She provides a safe environment where clients do not feel judged so that they can talked about their difficulties and overcome them. The client can grow and transform their life into whatever they wish.
She previously worked at Ealing Abbey Counselling Service as a Counsellor and Assessor. In this setting up to one year of counselling was offered per client. She also assessed the suitability of clients for counselling and matched them with suitably qualified counsellors.
She worked at Teens and Toddlers working with teens with challenging behaviour by allowing them to mentor children aged 3 - 5 and working on their interpersonal skills.
