English

I offer therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression and relational breakdown. I can support individuals to find strategies and more effective ways of managing anxiety and panic disorder so they may regain their quality of life and peace of mind. I am also an experienced couples counsellor and offer impartial support to both parties experiencing relational breakdown.

My Psychotherapy training has allowed me to consider how early attachments in childhood affect and influence who we choose as partners and how it affects our current adult relationships. I offer clients open ended therapy to allow them to consider these dynamics for as long as they need to reach a satisfying outcome.

I work in addition, with young people who are experiencing mental health issues which may be impeding their development and affecting their social relationships - social anxiety, bullying and cyber bullying all are producing a very real threat to young people currently. I work with individuals to support them in managing panic disorders and self harm and long term depression and anxiety. Self esteem is often a key issue in young people’s lives today. In today’s world of selfies and social media a strong therapeutic relationship in therapy can allow individuals to regain their sense of well being and confidence in connecting with others in a real way. I also offer recovery support for those who have experienced sexual harassment or attack.

I work with children and young people from the ages of 13-21 and have over 20 years experience of working with residential therapeutic schools and adolescent wards of mental health hospitals such as the Wareneford in Oxford.
