I have a Foundation in Youth work, a BA Hons in Sculpture, a Masters in Dance Movement Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision. I worked for over eight years in psychotherapeutic roles within charity, community, clinical and corporate settings, seeing individuals and groups of all ages, face to face and online including anonymous text based service.
I offer online and face to face sessions to people all over the UK. I am also insured to work in the EU. My therapeutic approach is Creative and Integrative.
People who find their way to me and feel my approach makes sense tend to be one or more of the following - they are creative or wanting to explore their creative self, empathic, highly sensitive, neurodiverse, they may have experienced abuse as children, including witnessing domestic abuse, experienced sexual abuse, neglect, absent parents, or had parents with mental health issues.
I work with people who have Autism spectrum disorder, including adults in work to children with full time support.
I have experience with working with all kinds of people, so if you are curious to find out more, please do ask.
What you can expect sessions to be like with me.
You will have time and space to be listened to, to speak, to express with words, with image making, with movement, with sensing into your body. There is opportunity to use music, to use props, such as found objects to tell stories with, or material to dress up in for example. There is no expectation to do any of these, its always an invitation and your choice is honoured.
All the best with your journey.
